Individual contributors who provide support services to complete technical, production, or trade-level activities. Technical work is typically performed in a “hands on” environment and focuses on daily plant operations, such as system operations and maintenance. May provide direction to less experienced staff, but do not have formal team management responsibilities. Typically requires some form of certification, apprenticeship, or degree.

This job family is responsible for the engineering and technical operations of the organization and managing or performing research and development. Activities include undertaking research, design, and development activities to improve the organization's products and services; designing, constructing, testing, and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications; developing and testing theories on the properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions; and scientific research or quality testing in a laboratory environment.

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for executing and managing work across multiple engineering sub-families. Activities include undertaking research, design, and development activities to improve the organization's products and services; designing, constructing, testing, and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications; developing and testing theories on the properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions; and scientific research or quality testing in a laboratory environment.

Overview: Individual contributor typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.

Purpose: Follows standard procedures to achieve day-to-day objectives.

Qualifications/ Experience: Work requires limited to no job knowledge. Some roles may require evidence of technical aptitude (typically less than 1 year of relevant experience) and a secondary school qualification (a HS diploma, G.E.D., etc. in the US) or basic vocational/technical education in related discipline.

Problem Solving: Tasks are routine or well defined, problems have standardized solutions.

Management & Supervision: Works under close supervision with detailed verbal, visual, or written instructions to complete all daily work activities.

Salary Range (before Taxes) For This Position Is

€1 030,00–€1 038,00
