Looking for a hands-on Embedded Engineer ready to shape the future of safety technology?

A fast-growing innovator in sensor products is seeking an Embedded/Firmware Engineer to join a close-knit R&D team in Rotterdam. You’ll play a crucial role in both developing new handheld devices and enhancing existing products – the oldest of which is only 2 years old.

Whether you're an Embedded Software Specialist or a Firmware all-rounder with some electronics exposure, if you’re passionate about low-level C/C++, working directly with microprocessors, and want to see your code make a real-world impact – this role is worth exploring.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing embedded C AND C++ for microprocessor-based SENSOR products
• Developing firmware for brand-new and existing devices
• Collaborating with firmware engineers, product owners, and technical leadership
• Driving innovation in compact safety-critical instrumentation

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Embedded C and C++ experience
• Comfortable working at the low-level, directly on processors/microcontrollers
• Solid grasp of firmware design for portable or handheld devices
• English-speaking and happy to work onsite in Rotterdam (with some hybrid flexibility for local candidates)

Bonus if you have:

• Firmware + Electronics background (ideal but not essential)
• Experience in MedTech or similar safety-critical industries
