It’s fair to say that weather can have a huge impact on all of our lives, both personally and professionally, so this is why, here at Meteomatics, we focus on the processing and provision of high quality weather data as well as the development of meteorological software products.

To do this, we have an international, competent and motivated team, dedicated to the development of our Weather Web Applications. We encourage an active and lively exchange and have our head full of ideas. Are you passionate about creating user-centered designs that make complex weather data accessible and intuitive?

Join us as a UX/UI Design Intern and dive into the exciting world of weather applications. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge web and mobile applications, all while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile meteorological applications.
• Collaborate with different teams to align designs with user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Assist in planning and conducting user research and usability tests.
• Analyze user feedback and test results to make iterative design improvements.
• Use analytical tools to track interactions and optimize the user experience.
• Maintain and enhance design systems and UI libraries for consistency and scalability.
• Stay updated on UX/UI trends and emerging technologies.
• Communicate design ideas and rationale effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• You have (almost) finished your degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Practical experience working on web or mobile applications.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, with strong UX/UI design knowledge.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Mouseflow, etc.
• Swiss/EU citizenship is mandatory!
