Job Summary:

Clutch is a rapidly growing staffing agency that connects clients with exceptional talent. They are seeking a Game Developer specializing in Unity 6 to develop, implement, and maintain game features, ensuring engaging user experiences for children's apps.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain game features and functionalities using Unity 6 and C#.

• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and animators to translate concepts and art assets into interactive game experiences.

• Optimize game performance for various mobile devices, ensuring smooth gameplay and responsiveness.

• Implement user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that are intuitive and engaging for children.

• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the stability and quality of the application.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, mobile development trends, and best practices in children's app development.

• Contribute to technical design discussions and provide input on architectural decisions.

• Ensure adherence to child-safe design principles and privacy regulations (e.g., COPPA).

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4+ years of professional experience in game development.

• Proven experience developing and shipping mobile games/applications.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Experience specifically with Unity 6 is required.

• Proficiency in C# programming language.

• Strong understanding of Unity's core features, including scripting, animation, UI, physics, and asset pipelines.

• Familiarity with mobile development platforms (iOS and Android).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile games.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for creating engaging and educational content for children.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred:

• Previous experience developing for children's apps or educational software is a significant plus.

• Experience with 2D and 3D game development a plus!

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies a plus!

• Experience with analytics and A/B testing in mobile apps preferred.

• A portfolio showcasing relevant game development projects.
