What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior Data Scientist, you’ll support the design and development of data-driven models that power our industry-leading insurance solutions. You’ll get hands-on experience with projects ranging from supervised machine learning and clustering, to natural language processing and network analysis.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to:

Work on real-life projects with guidance from experienced data scientists

Explore and analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights

Build and test models using techniques like GLM, GBM, Random Forests, and Neural Networks

Communicate your findings through clear reports and presentations

Help bring models from concept to production

Collaborate with a high-performing team that values curiosity, creativity, and learning

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking bright, enthusiastic individuals early in their careers who have:

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics)

Programming experience in Python and SQL

An understanding of data cleaning, manipulation, and basic statistical techniques

A keen eye for detail and a passion for solving problems

A desire to learn about the insurance and risk analytics space
