Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + super

Steelx is looking for a capable and passionate Senior Full Stack Developer to help lead the next evolution of our engineering and business platforms. You'll join a collaborative, cross-functional team working on cutting-edge applications—from 3D visualisation and workflow automation to cloud-based customer and engineering systems.

This is a hands-on role with ownership. You'll architect new systems, refine performance, and play a key role in our AI-enhanced development journey.

And here’s the kicker: we work a full-time week in four days most weeks! Enjoy a genuine long weekend—most weekends—while doing work that truly matters.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of web applications and backend services
• Own features from conception to production in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain and improve existing systems with clean, scalable code
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and business teams to shape requirements
• Use AI-assisted dev tools and modern workflows to accelerate delivery
• Share your ideas and help steer the technical direction of key projects

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in professional software development
• Proven experience with C# / .NET and React.js
• Solid skills with MySQL and experience in AWS environments
• A practical, solutions-first mindset—you enjoy "nuts and bolts" programming
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a readiness to contribute ideas
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and prompt engineering with AI tools
