Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a passionate Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer to elevate our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. If you're driven by innovation and have a knack for optimizing systems, we'd love to have you on board.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using YAML, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Deploy and manage microservices with Kubernetes.
• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Azure and AWS services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain system performance.
• Manage and maintain both structured and unstructured databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL databases, and MongoDB.
• Work with event messaging systems like Apache Pulsar and Azure Service Bus to support real-time data processing and integration.
• Ensure security best practices are applied in both code and infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to optimize operational processes.
• Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data resilience and disaster recovery readiness.

Must have skills:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Terraform.
• Extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of structured and unstructured databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL databases).
• Experience with event messaging systems (Apache Pulsar, Azure Service Bus).

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, or software development.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Understanding of APIs and ability to work with cloud-agnostic components.
• Knowledge of security in code and infrastructure.
• Good to have: Programming skills in C# or other languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Language: English or German
