Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Team Lead to join a global technology team. This role will work directly with the Global Head of Infrastructure, and lead a small, skilled team based in Geneva. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building and scaling their cloud infrastructure from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical lead and right hand to the Global Head of Infrastructure
• Lead and mentor a Geneva-based team of infrastructure specialists
• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
• Provide hands-on end-user support and ensure seamless IT operations
• Communicate technical processes and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Oversee domain administration and cloud operations
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with best practices

Current Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure roles
• Background in finance, banking, hedge funds, or start-ups preferred
• Strong experience with Linux (preferred), Windows, and Microsoft 365
• Proven ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and effectively
• Experience with domain administration and cloud operations
• Python skills are a plus

• Must be based in Geneva or willing to relocate
• Strong communication skills, especially in articulating technical solutions to end users
