Senior Backend Developer – Greenfield HealthTech Platform (Hybrid, Gothenburg)

Join a growing development team building a brand-new electronic health record platform that’s set to launch later this year. Backed by a financially secure parent company and already partnered with early customers, this is a unique chance to be part of something from the ground up.

You’ll be working in a tight-knit team of 10 engineers, focused on greenfield development using modern tools and practices. The team leads all new feature development, while a partner company supports legacy work.

What You’ll Work With

• Backend tech: Kotlin or Java, Spring Boot, SQL/Databases
• Agile, test-driven development environments
• Optional exposure to frontend: React, TypeScript, CSS
• DevOps tooling: CI/CD, Kubernetes (nice to have)
• Opportunity to influence architecture and design decisions

What They’re Looking For

• Solid backend experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, and database development
• Comfort writing and testing your own code
• Strong communicator who thrives in an agile team environment
• Fluency in Swedish or English

Nice to have:

• Experience in Healthcare/MedTech
• Familiarity with TDD, pair programming, or DevOps culture
• Frontend knowledge or interest in working across the full stack
