Product Director

MCG Talent has partnered with a leading figure within the Crypto/Blockchain space to identify a Product Director, with a specialism in US Banking services, to join their growing team in the Middle East.

As a Product Director you will lead initiatives from inception to execution, collaborating with Banks, FinTech’s, and Digital Wallets to deliver a world-class platform. With a focus on US partners, your expertise in US banking regulations will be a key asset in redefining how users manage their finances.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the team’s roadmap, aligning milestones and dependencies with strategic priorities.
• Drive complex projects by defining features, writing product specifications, iterating on user feedback, reviewing QA test plans, prioritizing bug fixes, managing backlogs, and shipping products/features on time.
• Engage with customers to build empathy and ensure their needs are met.
• Prioritize initiatives, weighing trade-offs to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with design, frontend, and backend teams to deliver first-in-class features.
• Monitor market trends and dynamics to ensure the products remain best-in-class.
• Represent the team in cross-functional communications with internal stakeholders.

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of product management experience in fintech; deep knowledge of US payment systems and cash clearing networks is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to translate technical APIs into impactful user stories.
• Hands-on approach with meticulous attention to detail, particularly in settlement flow design.
• Data-informed decision-making combined with a user-centric perspective.
• Passion for crafting exceptional customer-facing products and experiences.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability to meet tight deadlines when needed.
• Proven ability to manage C-level stakeholders and clearly articulate prioritization decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership, taking ownership and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent collaboration skills, working seamlessly with designers, engineers, QA, marketing, compliance, and growth teams.
