Job Purpose:
The Project Lead for SAP Implementation (Operations Integration) will oversee the successful deployment of a new SAP system, ensuring that the interests and needs of the operations team are fully integrated into the project. This role involves managing the project lifecycle, aligning operational objectives with system capabilities, and delivering the project on time and within budget. The Project Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the SAP system, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, with a focus on operational requirements.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
2. Operations Alignment:
• Work closely with operations managers to understand their needs and ensure these are reflected in the SAP system design and implementation.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather operational requirements and feedback.
• Ensure that the SAP system supports operational processes and enhances efficiency.
3. Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, particularly those from the operations team.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.
5. Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Quality Assurance:
• Ensure the SAP system meets business and operational requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure project deliverables are on track.

Background & Experience:
•Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience leading SAP implementation projects. Experience in operations management is highly desirable.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP modules, project management software, and tools.
•Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific business processes and operational requirements.
