Consultant analytics - Barcelona

Right now, we are looking for * Consultant analytics * to join our team at Bluecap Reinvention Studio! This studio has more than 15 years of experience in providing consulting services, specialized in the financial sector.

We develop quantitative financial models mainly for Credit Risk by applying both traditional methodologies and most state-of-the art Machine Learning ones:

• Linear Models, Regularized Linear Models (LASSO, Ridge, ElasticNet) and Tree Models (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting) for classification and regression problems on tabular data
• (1D Convolutional) Neural Networks and transformers for speech & text analysis
• Reinforcement Learning
• Time series (ARIMA)
  
  
  

We work with massive amounts of data with all the processes that it entails (data mining, data cleaning, feature engineering...) with the aim of feeding the construction of the models and all kinds of analyses. Given the variety of projects we develop, we look for consultants who provide creative and data-driven solutions, so mathematical and analytical thinking is the key to success.

• Knowledge in banking sector
• Basic modeling knowledge: Predictive regression and classification models, data cleaning and feature engineering
• Knowledge of Machine Learning framework and overfitting controls
• High programming capabilities. Proven knowledge of Python is preferred (or experience with one of the following or similar languages: R, Matlab or C++)
• Having worked in distributed computing environments such as PySpark will be valued
• Experience in Credit Risk will be valuable (estimation and validation of A-IRB parameters, rating/scoring models, stress testing...)
• Fluent in Spanish and English. Other language will be valued (Portuguese, French, Italian..)
