Rochon Building Corporation is a leading provider of full construction services in Canada that specializes in industrial and commercial projects. With over three and a half decades of experience in the construction services industry, we take pride in our ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects for a diverse collection of clients.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the project management team by overseeing project schedules, resources, and communication.
The Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the development and execution of project plans, tracking key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and project plans.
- Assist in identifying potential roadblocks and escalate issues to Project Manager.
- Assist in tracking resource allocation and identifying any resource gaps.
- Identify and document project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Maintain project-related databases and update progress logs.
- Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or administrative roles.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore).
- Superior communication skills include both verbal and written correspondence.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and client groups.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Sound critical thinking skills and proven ability to exercise good judgement.
