• Led and mentored AI teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
• Defined strategic AI roadmaps, focusing on computer vision and multimodal capabilities across government.
• Guided advanced AI experiments to solve public sector challenges with cutting-edge techniques.
• Promoted adoption of emerging models like VLMs and LMMs through prototypes and demonstrations.
• Engaged stakeholders to align AI initiatives with organizational and sector-wide objectives.
• Built partnerships with academia and industry to strengthen the national AI ecosystem.

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years in AI/ML with 2+ years leading multidisciplinary teams in computer vision projects.
• Deep expertise in computer vision techniques like object detection, segmentation, and image understanding.
• Skilled in multimodal AI systems integrating image, video, and audio data sources.
• Proficient in PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and state-of-the-art models like CLIP and GPT-4o.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and engage non-technical stakeholders.
• Experienced in ethical AI deployment, ecosystem collaboration, and strategic capability development.
