Frontend Developer

An innovative Stockholm-based tech company is looking for a skilled Vue.js Developer with Nuxt.js experience to join their team on a 6-month contract. This fully remote role is ideal for a frontend developer eager to work on exciting projects, contribute to a high-energy team, and create seamless user experiences.

Position Details

Title: Vue.js Developer with Nuxt.js

Location: Stockholm-based company (one day a week on site)

Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

Work Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours within CET timezone

Role and Responsibilities

The Vue.js Developer will collaborate with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to develop responsive, high-performance web applications. Key responsibilities include:

• Building dynamic frontend applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Creating reusable components and libraries to enhance application performance and scalability
• Collaborating in the design process to ensure high-quality user experiences
• Implementing API integrations and optimizing for SEO using Nuxt.js features
• Contributing to an Agile workflow, attending sprint planning sessions and daily stand-ups

Requirements

• Strong experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend best practices
• Familiarity with Vuex for state management and SSR (Server-Side Rendering) with Nuxt.js
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and working with backend teams
• Located within EU time zones to align with the Stockholm-based team
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup
