Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:

• Setting up CI/CD Pipelines in multi environment setup: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery to EKS clusters
• Developing and supporting software applications within a multi-platform continuous integration, deployment, and delivery environment
• Automate deployments with complex dependency trees
• Automated application build, deployment, and support using Maven
• Designing innovative technical solutions using DevOps practices
• Working on open-source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, nginx, Node.js, etc)
• Performing infrastructure automation and development using configuration management and containerization technologies like Chef, Ansible, and Docker for multi-tier Web applications
• Work closely and collaboratively in an Agile environment with engineers and product teams to anticipate operational needs
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or any Container orchestration tools, and a solid understanding of microservice architecture - with a preference for EKS
• Experience developing and supporting software applications within a multi-platform continuous integration, deployment, and delivery environment
• Experience with automated application build, deployment, and support using Maven
• Experience working on open-source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, nginx, Node.js, etc.)
• Experience with performing infrastructure automation and development using configuration management and containerization technologies like Chef, Ansible, and Docker for multi-tier Web applications
• Strong understanding of full-stack web application hosting, database configuration, and disaster-recovery strategies
• Knowledge of distributed version control systems (e.g. GitHub/Stash)
• Proficiency in Groovy, Python, Java or other programming languages to create custom tools for automating processes as needed
• Must be a self-starter, self-directed and motivated
• Excellent writing and communication skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
