Role Overview: We are looking for a creative, culturally fluent Roblox Game Developer/Designer to join our NYC-based team. While your primary responsibilities will focus on game design, project management, and creative strategy, a background in technical development on the Roblox platform is highly preferred. Young, passionate applicants immersed in gaming, meme culture, and internet trends are strongly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed design documents outlining viral game updates, compelling core loops, and innovative gameplay mechanics for Roblox games.
• Identify emerging trends, popular mechanics, and rising Roblox games early, turning insights into actionable ideas.
• Manage small, agile development teams to rapidly prototype, test, and release engaging VR meta Quest experiences.
• Collaborate with artists, developers, and marketers to ensure your designs resonate deeply with our target audience (Gen Z/A).
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, leveraging your deep understanding of meme culture, internet humor, and gaming communities.
• Consistently analyze and improve player engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience designing or developing successful Roblox games.
• Technical knowledge and/or development experience on the Roblox platform strongly preferred.
• Exceptional fluency in meme culture, internet humor, Gen Z/A cultural trends, and gaming culture.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to manage small teams effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate creative concepts.
• Passionate, proactive, and collaborative approach.
• Must be based in NYC and available for in-office work.
