Omani Engineer

Renardet S.A. & Partners is seeking for a Graduate Omani Engineer that will be responsible for the construction supervision activities for Development of Masirah Harbor project which duration of the assignment is 24 months. This engineer will work and provide the required support in management of construction supervision. The preference is given to an Engineer that is located in Sharqiya region near to Masirah.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates with all the inspectors and surveyors at the site to achieve construction goals.
• Monitors the progress of the construction work particularly structural works, solving any technical issues at the site that may occur.
• Follows standard procedures ensuring construction works are carried out in accordance with specifications.
• Verifies method statements and other relevant documentation.
• Assists in analysis and approval of contractor’s programme of work.
• Plays an important role in the preparation of monthly progress reports submitted to the Resident Engineer
• Ensure that engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Should hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with desired experience of 2 (two) years.
• If Diploma holder of 3 years from Vocational Training Centre, desired work experience should be 5 (five) years.
• Knowledge of spoken and written English language is a must.
