Job Description

About your Role

• Engage directly with the leadership team to design and execute product development strategies, goals, and timelines.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and R&D teams to conceptualize ideas and translate roadmaps into tangible products
• Coordinate thorough testing and validation strategies for prototypes and final products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
• Manage and priorities multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as researchers, clinicians, industry experts to gather insights and ensure market needs are met.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless transition from product development to manufacturing.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive the development of cutting-edge commercial products.
  
  

Qualifications

Technical Skills✔️

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biology or related fields (Bonus: Master’s or PhD)
• + 3 years experience in Product Engineering or Product Development (Bonus: Life Sciences experience)
  
  

Cultural Skills✔️

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in coordinating and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering commercial products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions or taking initiative and ownership of key workstreams
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategy, roadmaps, and vision to a range of audiences
• Ability to gain consensus among cross-functional teams and build positive working
  
  

Bonus Skills:

• Understanding of Optics (spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR or similar techniques)
• Understanding of AI (machine learning, deep learning)
