Software Engineer - Java, Spring Boot

As part of a close-knit product and engineering team, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing new features, integrating AI capabilities, and pushing the limits of what modern backend development can achieve. You’ll be working alongside a strong, technically sound CTO and be supported—but not micromanaged. The Stack

• Java, Spring Boot (core backend)
• React (frontend)
• Microservices, Docker, MongoDB, RabbitMQ
• CI/CD, AWS

While frontend experience is a bonus, this role is best suited to developers with a backend bias.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of backend development for core product features
• Work autonomously on solutions, but collaborate closely when needed
• Help shape future iterations of the product—including the rollout of AI-driven features
• Contribute to a culture of clean code, shared learning, and continuous improvement

What They're Looking For

• Solid commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot (ideally 2+ years)
• Familiarity with microservices, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure
• A self-starter mentality – you’re comfortable taking the initiative and owning problems
• Clear, thoughtful communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork
