SRE - Data Platforms (Zurich)

Our client, a prestigious hedge fund, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team in Zurich. This role is pivotal in scaling and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers the firm's data pipelines-critical systems that support research, trading, and operational workflows across the organization.

You'll collaborate closely with platform, application, and research teams to ensure the data infrastructure is reliable, observable, and high-performing.

• Partner with engineering teams to enhance deployment tooling, improve observability, and ensure the platform meets the demands of a data-intensive trading environment.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for data ingestion and processing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolve incidents, and drive improvements in reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless platform integration and robust system architecture.
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and its ecosystem, including Argo CD and Helm.
• Proficient in reading and debugging Python code, with a solid grasp of system architecture and DevOps toolchains.
• Comfortable working with Linux, Docker, and monitoring/logging platforms, as well as general language build toolchains.
