What does this job entail?

In the financial sector, KBC is a frontrunner in digital transformation. Just think of our banking app KBC Mobile and our personal assistant Kate. We're now leveraging our experience and expertise in this area to make great strides in the insurance domain as well.

Will you join us in this effort?

You’ll be part of a team where your expertise in savings and investment insurance will play a key role.

What do we expect from you?

You are involved in the prestudy and work execution phases of projects.
You work together with business to capture the business requirements, to structure them and to write them down as the basis for ICT-development.
On the basis of these requirements you make a functional design; you go into dialogue with the technical IT-colleagues in order to design an adequate solution together.
During the execution of the projects you remain available for further questions.
You participate in preparation of tests and execution of them.
When there is a defect or incident, you analyse the root cause and the possible solutions.

Your key strengths?

You have a master’s degree in IT and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a mainframe environment. You are able to read and understand code.
You have previous experience in the savings- & investments insurances domain.
You work client- and solution-oriented, taking initiative in your assignments and tackling your issues.
Analysing is one of your main strengths. You are able to acquire complex functionality in a short period of time and are good at making connections.
You enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams and achieving goals as a team. Ideally, you have experience with agile methodologies.
You are flexible and can handle sudden changes in priorities.
You communicate effectively in English - that’s a must in this international context.
