IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager for a temporal position of time until the end of 31.12.2026 to support Sanoma Learning ERP implementation project. This position starts as soon as possible.

Project definition: Sanoma Learning & Group is in the middle of Implementing new S/4HANA Public Cloud based ERP solution. In procurement area the scope of the project is to integrate existing procurement applications to new S/4HANA ERP and roll-out the whole solution (consisting of several applications) to all companies. First roll-out will cover 2 Sanoma Group Companies and 9 legal entities within Sanoma Spain. Currently project is in realization phase.

Role definition: Stream Lead will be responsible of project management activities of the Integrations Stream including: taking ownership and provide coordination of the end-to-end delivery of the integrations to be delivered , planning the work in detail, monitoring the progress and reporting the status, coordinate in collaboration partner and external suppliers the design. Identify and ensuring resourcing needs , coordinating work of developers, collaborating with Process Streams and extended projects as well as Sanoma Intelligent Automations team, which is accountable for integration delivery and for AMS after the project. Responsibilities listed below:

• Lead and deliver the integration stream
• Plan and manage stream task plan, assuring that all integrations required are identified and tracked, assure quality documentation enabling efficient implementation of the next phases of the project (i.e. countries/ Sanoma affiliates)
• Coordinate and assure in collaboration with all relevant teams and stakeholder the integration design and validation.
• Manage development process according to defined delivery model incl. specification reviews and approvals
• Report upwards (PMO and Project Director)
• Lead, coach and steer integration team in executing the project plan and realizing the outcome
• Manage cross-stream dependencies; coordinate and supervise of cross stream topics
• Monitor budget, validate schedule and manage & allocate resources
• Participate into release/roll-out management and scope management including change request and decision management
• Participate into issue and risk management
• Manage quality of the stream
• Manage and monitor expectations
• Manage change and (stream and project internal) communication
• Manage acceptance of deliverables, including specifications and documentation – related to stream
  
  

Requirements for person to be selected: Candidate needs to present solid, minimum 5 year experience on IT integration delivery, preferably related to finance, HR and procurement solutions. In addition to skills needed to cover responsibilities listed above that candidate should also possess high levels of the below skills to perform well in the role:

• SAP integration development and delivery skills
• Written and verbal communication skills in English; Finnish and Spanish skills considered as plus
• Capacity to manage high stress situations
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Leadership skills
• Big-picture thinking and vision with a can do attitude
• Conflict resolution skills
• Experience with European wide technology implementation projects
• Preferably knowledge and experience over SAP BTP Integration Suite platform
