The Senior Manager of IT – Acquisitions will be responsible for designing and delivering IT solutions that support the seamless onboarding and integration of newly acquired entities. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and collaborate across multiple business and technology functions to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End IT Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT solutions for acquisitions—from strategy and planning through to implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
- Programme Management: Develop detailed delivery plans in collaboration with Project Managers, ensuring timely execution, effective risk management, and alignment with scope and budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing IT team in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Strategic Business Alignment: Serve as a key IT advisor to acquisition and senior business leadership, ensuring technology solutions support strategic priorities and deliver measurable value.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that IT services meet evolving business requirements.
- Budget and Resource Oversight: Manage departmental budgets and resource planning to drive cost-effective and sustainable technology investments.
- Standardisation and Governance: Work with senior IT leadership to establish a service catalogue, define SLAs, and embed security and compliance into the acquisitions platform.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience across multiple IT functions, with a proven track record in delivering transformation projects.
- Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing large-scale IT programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams and to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across business and IT domains.
- Expertise in translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable IT solutions.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and hybrid teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in the retail or wholesale industry.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, particularly Microsoft Business Central.
- Background in business partnering and a strong understanding of customer-centric technology delivery.
