WHO ARE WE

QuantFi (part of Coinmerce Group) is a proprietary high frequency trading firm in digital assets. With our proprietary HFT platform, we use different strategies to optimize and stabilize worldwide cryptocurrency exchanges. By offering liquidity and stabilizing factors between ask and bid prices on spot markets, we effectively, 'make these markets'. YOUR PROFILE

As the Head of Trading, you will leverage your extensive background as a senior quantitative developer to lead a dynamic and fast-paced trading team. You are adept with the complete lifecycle of algorithmic trading strategies, from research and design to development, backtesting, and live operations. You will play a crucial role in maximizing yield by exploiting inefficiencies in digital asset markets across multiple platforms and instruments. This position requires close collaboration with quantitative developers, trading engineers, fundamental analysts, and the treasury team to ensure the successful execution of strategies and continuous improvement in trading performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of quantitative developers and analysts;
• Develop and refine cutting-edge algorithmic trading strategies aimed at profiting from market inefficiencies in digital assets;
• Bring strategies to production, ensuring seamless operational execution and monitoring;
• Set up and refine (automated) processes to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of trading operations.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior quant/trading role, with a focus on market making and algorithmic trading in digital assets;
• Familiarity with order book dynamics, execution algorithms, and market microstructure;
• A proven track record of developing and implementing high-frequency and low-latency trading strategies;
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts and technical information to diverse stakeholders, including traders, engineers, executives, and external parties;
• Previous experience with market making in digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrencies), including handling illiquid markets, and optimizing spread and inventory under varying market conditions.

Nice to have:

• Strong programming skills in Python, with high-level knowledge of building high-performance low-latency trading systems;
• Familiarity with blockchain protocols, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems, as well as the technical infrastructure behind digital assets, to leverage emerging opportunities in the crypto space;
• Experience in designing and implementing automated risk management processes, including real-time monitoring of market exposure, position limits, and liquidity risk, particularly in volatile and illiquid markets.
