Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a growing data team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Project Management:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee data science projects from conception to deployment.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models using machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical techniques.
  • Oversee the integration and utilization of various data sources and tools.
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of data science solutions.

Strategic Planning:

  • Align data science initiatives with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for data science-related queries and issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on data science initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to users to maximize the value of data science solutions.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in data science roles, with a proven track record of leading successful projects (minimum 5 years)
  • Strong experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team.

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
