About the job – Senior Backend Engineer.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer with expertise in B2C products to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our server-side applications. You will be working with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions to assist our clients to invest in real estate abroad.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
• Troubleshoot, debug and maintain consumer facing production environment
• Work independently to manage your own workload and prioritize tasks

Requirements

• Strong experience as Frontend development particularly with in consumer-facing production systems.
• Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript and the Javascript ecosystem.
• Proven hands on experience working in a modern development environment (trunk based development, CI/CD, extensive testing, deployment strategies, a/b testing etc).
• Hand on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Good knowledge of databases technologies such as PostgresSQL and Elasticsearch
