Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design intuitive, user-centric experiences for our suite of payments products. You will work closely with product leads, managers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to craft thoughtful design solutions that address real user needs and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process—from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and visual design.
• Develop user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent clearly.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to guide design decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements and technical constraints into elegant, functional designs.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and detailed UI specifications that adhere to brand and accessibility standards.
• Work closely with engineering during implementation to maintain design integrity and resolve edge cases.
• Continuously stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and UX best practices to elevate design outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful digital products—preferably in fintech or payment solutions.
• Strong portfolio highlighting design thinking, end-to-end project ownership, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design/prototyping tools.
• Solid grasp of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and responsive design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions.
• Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in high-growth start-ups or multinational product environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience designing for mobile-first or cross-platform applications.
• Exposure to payments infrastructure, digital wallets, or banking interfaces.
• Strong analytical mindset with an ability to turn data into actionable design improvements.
• A proactive, curious, and solution-oriented attitude with a passion for experimentation and iteration.
• Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken, is required to support regional user insights and communications.
