User Experience Designer

This role involves designing a Moodle homepage and the first lesson for an online Russian language program aimed at children aged 5 to 9. The UX/UI designer must be capable of creating an intuitive, visually engaging, pre-reader-friendly interface. Key elements include visual progression tracking, badges, and integration of interactive activities using H5P or SCORM. The design should incorporate vector or semi-3D visual elements where suitable and reflect an understanding of child-centered pedagogy. The deliverables include the Moodle homepage and Lesson 1 layout, with a timeline of 15 days for completion.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Russian and English.
• Experience or strong interest in designing educational platforms for young children.
• Familiarity with Moodle, H5P, or SCORM-based activities.
• Ability to design intuitive interfaces accessible to pre-readers.
• Skills in incorporating visual progression elements, reward systems (badges), and interactive media.
• Competence in using vector graphics and semi-3D visuals to enhance child engagement.
• Understanding of early childhood education and digital pedagogy.
• Availability to deliver the project within 15 days remotely, with potential for future collaboration.
