Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Crpyto Trading Platform

We are working with a regulated digital asset exchange headquartered in Singapore to appoint a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology and engineering function. This role complements an ongoing search for a Chief Product Officer – both critical hires to strengthen the leadership bench as the firm scales its institutional platform.

This CTO mandate is ideal for a technology-first leader with strong roots in capital markets infrastructure, a strong track record in digital assets, and the capability to build secure, high-performance systems in a regulated environment.

What You’ll Own:

• Define and lead the overall technology strategy across trading systems, custody, blockchain integration, and security architecture
• Build and scale a world-class engineering team, fostering excellence in system design, delivery, and resilience
• Ensure enterprise-grade reliability, low latency, and regulatory compliance across the full technology stack
• Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Risk to align technology with commercial outcomes

Who We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles in trading platforms, capital markets, or digital asset ecosystems
• Expertise in matching engines, real-time data processing, blockchain-based systems, and secure architecture
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and tech infrastructure in regulated markets
• Crypto-native or actively building within the digital asset space, with an appetite to innovate responsibly
• This is a Singapore-based role with relocation support available for outstanding global candidates.

You’ll play a foundational role in building the infrastructure behind a fast-growing institutional digital asset exchange – in close partnership with a new incoming CPO.
