Cyber Security Consultant

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join a high-performing project team delivering infrastructure services and cybersecurity operations. You’ll bring strong stakeholder management, hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, compliance, and a solid grasp of IT service delivery frameworks. 🔐 What You'll Be Doing:

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will:

• Drive Cybersecurity Incident Management and Security Compliance across IT systems and platforms.
• Lead IT Service & Risk Management discussions and reviews with internal stakeholders and the project team.
• Oversee and manage Security Operations Tools (e.g., Splunk, Arcsight, EDR, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis, implement resolutions, and document incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Support and lead audits, DR/BCP exercises, vulnerability scans, and security policy reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security standards, policies, and frameworks (ISO/IM8/NIST/Zero Trust).
• Provide governance and QA oversight on access control, system hardening, and security patching.

📋 What We’re Looking For:

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

✅ Professional certifications: CISSP / CISA / CISM / CRISC / CGEIT (must-have)

✅ 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and information security governance

✅ 10+ years overall in IT infrastructure and service delivery

✅ Experience with Splunk, Arcsight, EDR, vulnerability assessment tools, etc.

✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

✅ Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving abilities

✅ Ability to work across compliance, QA, and operational streams

🌟 Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in public sector or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Background in ITIL or ITSM frameworks
• Familiarity with IM8 and local Singapore security regulations
