Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the Development Center Team for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. You will play a key role in driving the discovery and delivery of internal software projects while occasionally supporting presale activities for new external initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance structure with adaptability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
  • Proven experience supporting projects launched from scratch, including discovery, documentation, and backlog creation.
  • Domain expertise in at least two of the following areas: finance, SaaS, or web applications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work in fast-paced environments and across multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Practical knowledge of Jira & Confluence.
  • Knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq or similar).
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with BPMN or UML for process modeling.
  • Experience with discovery phases in presale or proposal development contexts.
  • Understanding of AI technologies and how AI features can enhance product value.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, UI/UX designers, developers, marketing, and other business units to define and refine project requirements.
  • Act as the Business Analyst in project teams, supporting the development of internal applications and tools.
  • Drive discovery efforts for new projects: gather requirements, analyze business processes, create process diagrams, and translate findings into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and manage product backlogs in Jira; support Agile teams in sprint planning and prioritization.
  • Take part in presale and early discovery phases for external projects when Business Analyst support is required.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
