A UK-based opportunity is available for an experienced iOS Developer to work on projects for a financial services client. The role involves designing, developing, and testing iOS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, cloud-integrated mobile solutions. This position requires proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C and experience working with key iOS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities - 

 Software Development:

  • Develop and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to define requirements and implement effective solutions.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure application quality and performance through rigorous testing and debugging.

Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation, and integrate with RESTful APIs and other backend services.

Problem-Solving:

  • Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

Staying Current:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in iOS development.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Programming Languages: Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C.

  • iOS Frameworks: Experience with UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and other relevant frameworks.

  • RESTful APIs: Skilled in integrating iOS applications with backend services.

  • Version Control: Proficient with Git or similar version control tools.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Cloud & Microsoft Technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft cloud services such as Azure is a plus, given the client’s broader technology environment.
