A national Healthcare organisation is looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer to be based between two key locations in Melbourne CBD and Melbourne's South-East, for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP. Your new role
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Developing and maintaining network documentation.
• Undertaking research and development duties.
• Collaborating with Field Service and Service Desk teams to mentor and train them on the troubleshooting of Network devices.
• Troubleshooting network issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Participating in project planning and implementation of network upgrades and migrations.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco routing & switching (BGP & MPLS), Palo Alto / Cisco / Fortinet next-generation firewalls and Palo Alto / Cisco / Fortinet SD-WAN.
• Experience with Azure, Hyper-V / VMware and Windows Server is advantageous.
• Prior experience with MPLS to SD-WAN migration is desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Azure and Microsoft certifications are preferred.
• A valid driver's licence.
