Terraform Provider Developer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Terraform Developer with hands-on experience building custom providers using Go. This role goes beyond using Terraform and requires deep expertise in developing integrations with external APIs and automation tools. Strong knowledge of Go and Python, combined with an understanding of networking and DevOps practices, is essential. The project operates in the Networking and IT Automation sector and is based in New York, NY. It delivers strategic automation solutions and tools that help organizations design, manage, and optimize complex network infrastructures efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Terraform providers.
• Write high-quality code in Go/Golang for Terraform provider development.
• Create automation and integration scripts using Python.
• Integrate with REST APIs and webhooks for automation and event-driven workflows.
• Work with network concepts, configuration, and infrastructure environments.
• Utilize AppviewX or similar network automation tools.
• Follow infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently on assigned projects

• Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.

Qualifications for the role:

• Proven, hands-on experience developing custom Terraform providers.
• Strong programming skills in Go/Golang.
• Strong experience in Python for automation and integration.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and webhooks.
• Familiarity with network concepts, configuration, and infrastructure environments.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
• Experience with AppviewX or similar network automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
