Junior Clinical Data Manager

Immediate start

As a Junior Clinical Data Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting diverse research projects, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager. Your collaborative efforts with our team members will ensure the smooth operation and success of our clinical studies, adhering to the highest scientific and ethical standards.

  • Develop and manage research databases in line with project protocols and ISO 14155.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to oversee data collection processes and database design for clinical research.
  • Engage with stakeholders, fostering relationships that promote efficient data management.
  • Contribute to the ideation and progression of research concepts alongside medical professionals.
  • Design and program case report forms.
  • Navigate electronic data capture systems.
  • Report on the progress and status of projects.
  • Monitor and ensure the integrity and quality of data, aligning with project timelines and goals.
  • Plan and perform descriptive and comparative statistical data analysis
  • Synthesize data findings and assist in crafting reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
  • Proficiency in programming with R and/or Python.
  • Keen interest in clinical research data management.
  • Strong organizational skills, combined with excellent communication and analytical capabilities.
  • Competence in data management software and tools.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills

Good To Have

  • Life-science or medical background
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with quality assurance
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis and interpretation.

Next Research is based in Vienna's 1st district and offers a friendly and open working atmosphere in an exciting and dynamic field of medicine as well as a fair payment scheme and travel opportunities (approx. 2-3 times annually). The minimum starting salary is € 2,500 - negotiable depending on additional qualifications and relevant work experience.
