We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Risk Officer to join our executive team and contribute to building a future of insurance business in Swedbank.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• be responsible for Swedbank P&C Insurance AS and Swedbank Life Insurance SE risk management function (2nd line of defense) and risk framework;
• as a key function holder report functionally to the Board and Council and ensure robust risk oversight;
• advise and support business organization in integration of risk management practices into business operations;
• collaborate with Insurance executive team in reaching strategic goals and fostering risk awareness across the organization;
• be responsible for day-to-day operations of the department.
  
  
  

What is needed in this role:

• university degree in the field of Finance, Economics or Mathematics;
• prior experience in risk management in insurance/banking, technical risk competences;
• strategic mind-set and business acumen;
• proven track record in senior roles, good networking and interpersonal skills;
• high degree of stress tolerance combined with high level of motivation and perseverance;
• fluent English language proficiency, both spoken and written.
