Job Advertisement: Cybersecurity Project Manager
Location: South Dublin
Contract Type: Permanent / onsite 3 days a weeks
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join a dynamic Cyber Defence team. This pivotal role will focus on managing and coordinating cyber defence initiatives, including penetration testing programs and regulatory engagements. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in IT project management, cybersecurity governance, and stakeholder engagement across both technical and non-technical audiences. This is a key position that bridges cybersecurity operations with compliance and governance, particularly in relation to evolving regulations such as DORA, NYDFS, and Threat-Led Penetration Testing (TLPT) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule penetration testing across business units, aligning with operational and regulatory timelines.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates, track dependencies, and resolve blockers.
- Maintain clear communication on testing progress, risks, and future testing plans.
- Monitor and interpret changes in cybersecurity regulations and ensure internal teams stay compliant.
- Manage project tracking for all test requests, plans, and remediation actions.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and governance packs for leadership and steering committees.
- Support continuous improvement across security testing, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Utilize existing tooling and dashboards for performance metrics and compliance reporting.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience managing cybersecurity or IT risk projects, ideally within regulated industries (e.g., banking, insurance).
- Understanding of penetration testing, red teaming, and threat-led penetration testing (TLPT).
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks such as DORA, NYDFS, and TLPT.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and multitasking capability.
- Proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint).
