Senior Network Engineer

Overview

We’re looking for Senior Network Engineer to lead the setup and support of large-scale network and server infrastructure across data centers and POP sites. This hands-on role blends fieldwork with collaboration across teams to ensure smooth deployments and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support data center and POP infrastructure across regional locations.
• Design and document rack layouts, power requirements, cabling plans, and network configurations.
• Oversee vendor coordination, asset management, and equipment installation.
• Use internal tools to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair network and server equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and refine processes.
• Contribute to test development, system performance modeling, and benchmarking.
• Drive documentation and automation improvements for smoother deployment workflows.
• Manage project timelines and ensure infrastructure is delivered on schedule and to spec.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 + years’ experience in network deployment, infrastructure engineering, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols (MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, etc.) and data center architecture.
• Hands-on experience in POPs, carrier hotels, or central office environments.
• Familiarity with fiber-optic systems, cabling types, optics, and transport technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting tools, network monitoring, and OS-level diagnostics.
• Certifications like CCNA, JNCIA, or RHCT are a plus.
