L2 Network Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an L2 Network Engineer located in The Hague. As an L2 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting network issues, performing network configurations, and ensuring the continuous and secure operation of network systems. You will work closely with other team members to provide support for network infrastructure projects, and handle escalated issues from Level 1 support. Additionally, you will be involved in maintaining network documentation, monitoring network performance, and implementing security measures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Experience with network performance monitoring and security measures
• Familiarity with network infrastructure projects and escalated issue resolution
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are beneficial
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated IT service environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
