AI Engineer (Data&AI, Data Science Team)

As an AI Engineer within the Data & AI department, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing AI agents that drive key aspects of our business. While collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering teams, your aim will be to deliver LLM-based solutions for various impactful areas. These range from internal productivity pipelines to customer-facing chat agents that make shopping easier and more engaging. Your role will involve both research and hands-on development, ensuring our solutions remain up-to-date in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll have to do:

• Develop cutting-edge agentic solutions which integrate internal processes and LLMs for areas such as search, product documentation and more
• Write high-quality production-level code to ensure seamless deployment, validation and monitoring within our ecosystem
• Deep dive into massive datasets in order to understand shortcomings and how we can improve our models to address them
• Proactively research new LLM releases, development frameworks, deployment options, and AI-based use cases that could benefit the business.
  
  

What makes you a good fit:

• Have a degree in a related discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science).
• Hands-on experience in agent development with frameworks such as Langchain/Langgraph, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, Google ADK
• Have expertise in finetuning and deploying LLMs in production level systems
• Have experience with SQL and data analysis tools like Pandas.
• Are familiar with product retrieval/ranking concepts and with training classical ML models
• Have hands-on experience with prompt engineering: templating, caching and optimizing for cost
• Have familiarity with MLOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker, VertexAI, Terraform
• Be up-to-date with the latest LLM releases in terms of performance, pricing and availability
• Have a solid grasp of big data architecture and application design
• Can clearly communicate technical concepts and translate them into business-focused insights for both technical and management audiences.
