Job Summary:

They are seeking a Frontend Engineer (UI Specialist) to join their Tech & Product Team, focusing on delivering beautiful and accessible user experiences while collaborating closely with engineers and designers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers and product managers to bring bold ideas to life through elegant, performant UIs

• Take ownership of the UI quality across the UK and German platforms, improving consistency, accessibility, and visual fidelity across pages and components

• Contribute new frontend components and UX improvements that feel native to our design system, even when they're net-new ideas

• Help define and enforce frontend best practices, particularly in styling, layout, responsiveness, and accessibility

• Stay up to date with emerging frontend techniques and libraries, bringing inspiration and experimentation into the team

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong hands-on experience using React, TypeScript, and CSS to build polished user interfaces

• Experience in creating UI designs with a sharp eye for detail and care deeply about visual quality

• Confidence working closely with designers, and ability to fill in the gaps between high-level designs and the final product

• Experience working on production-grade applications, and understanding how to build frontend systems that scale

• Experience with modern tooling (e.g. Vite, Webpack, PostCSS, etc.)
