Assistant Project Manager (Civil Engineer - Fit out)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Project Manager (Civil Engineer) at AURIGA International Management Consultants in Abu Dhabi. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, infrastructure development, civil engineering, construction management, and project management tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, Coordinating, and Monitoring the assigned Fit-out projects.
• Managing projects within the established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting or surpassing standards of quality.
• Preparation of the BOQ and costing of the fit-out projects
• Each layout and drawings request the client for approval and gives the necessary information.
• Obtaining authority approvals.
• Check the MEP and 2D Drawings are completed as per the client-approved 3D rendered design.
• Manage subcontractors to deliver the project on time and within budget.
• Checking of BOQ from sub-contractors based on the work done at the site
• Check with suppliers/contractors and request quotations and competitive prices.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, check & deliver progress reports
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Troubleshooting the issues with site engineers and various concerns while executing the fit-out works.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering and Infrastructure skills
• Experience in Budgeting and Construction Management
• Project Management expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with industry-specific software and tools (Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in managing Fit-out projects in the UAE.
