About Us

At Trade, we believe anyone can make great coffee at home—when they have the right beans, tools, and guidance. So we’ve curated over 450 coffees from 60+ of the best independent roasters across the U.S., and we match every customer to their perfect roast through a simple quiz and personalized experience. With over 9 million bags shipped to date, we’re scaling up to become the go-to destination for the $14B at-home coffee market—and we’re looking for a Product Manager to help us grow.

The Role

You’ll be a Product Manager on our Growth & Experience team, reporting to the Director of Product. You’ll lead projects that improve how customers discover, subscribe to, and enjoy coffee through Trade. From refreshing the homepage to refining subscription tools to optimizing checkout and trial flows, your work will help shape the way people experience Trade—and help more coffee drinkers find their perfect fit.

You’ll collaborate deeply with design, engineering, and partners across CX, Creative, and Merch to bring new ideas to life. You’ll drive execution from concept to launch and beyond—using data and insights to guide decisions and iterate fast. This is a hands-on role for a strong mid-level PM who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly, and cares about the details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product initiatives that improve user experience and drive key outcomes across our website and subscriber experience
  • Drive projects from discovery through delivery—scoping work, writing specs, and collaborating closely with design and engineering
  • Define success metrics and use data, user insights, and experimentation to inform priorities and measure impact
  • Work with cross-functional partners in Creative, CX, Merch, and Marketing to align on goals and go-to-market plans
  • Contribute to broader product strategy by surfacing learnings and identifying new opportunities
  • Bring urgency, clarity, and structure to the product development process

You Have:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in ecommerce, consumer, or subscription products
  • A track record of shipping features that improve both customer experience and business performance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you can bring cross-functional teams along with you
  • A data-informed mindset, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Familiarity with experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) and performance analysis
  • Comfort with ambiguity—you bring focus and momentum even when things are evolving
  • A love of coffee—or curiosity to learn more

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with personalization, conversion optimization, or user onboarding
  • Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, PostHog, Looker, or SQL
  • Background in lifestyle, food & beverage, or subscription services
  • A love of coffee—or a curiosity to learn

Office Guidelines

While we operate in a hybrid-first environment, the office is open and available for all Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to spend at least three days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in-office each week. Our goal is to foster collaboration, connection, and transparency, and we know from experience the important role that in-person time plays in this effort.

As part of the Trade team, you’ll get…

To be involved in building a growing and profitable company with an experienced leadership team and a mission-driven and values-based culture that permeates everything we do.

  • An opportunity to grow, learn, and leave your mark on our growing organization.
  • Mentorship from the CFO and an experienced leadership team.
  • $500 a year to spend on amazing coffee!
  • Competitive salary and unlimited vacation.
  • Best-in-class health benefits and 401K.
  • 11 paid holidays annually.

Trade is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
