Description

We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to join our growing IT team in Lahore. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our network infrastructure. This position requires a solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, as well as hands-on experience with network equipment and systems.

Experience: 1-2 years

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement network solutions that align with business needs.
Implement network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks.
Perform network upgrades and expansions as needed.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, subnetting, etc.).
Experience with network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
Knowledge of network security practices and protocols (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
Experience with wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud networking principles (AWS, Azure, etc.)
