Must Have Front End Developer

You will ultimately be responsible for the development and implementation of consumer-centric and healthcare professional-focused digital tools aimed at enhancing medication adherence and achieving optimal health outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of initiatives while optimizing program performance and alignment with business objectives.

What You Will Work On

• Lead the technical design and development of responsive, accessible front-end interfaces for web and mobile health applications.
• Implement and leverage development and test tools and utilities that integrate cutting-edge methodologies in automated generation of technical requirements, code, and testing protocols, enhancing developer efficiency and organizational productivity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional code.
• Implement features that facilitate care coordination between patients, their informal caregivers, and care team members.
• Create intuitive data visualization components to help users understand health trends.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate with APIs and healthcare data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical constraints, and deliver user-centered features.
• Ensure all interfaces meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to accommodate users with diverse abilities and needs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Contribute to design discussions and provide front-end insights during product planning and user research sessions.
• Stay current with the latest front-end development trends, tools, and best practices.
  
  

Good to Have Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of experience in front end development with demonstrated healthcare domain knowledge
• Experience in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React Native, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Experience building accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG standards
• Familiarity with state management approaches (e.g., Redux, Context API)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility challenges and solutions
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Preferred:
• Experience with Flutter
• Experience with TypeScript and strongly-typed development approaches
• Experience developing healthcare applications or working in health tech
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for digital applications
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)
