UX/UI designer - UI/ User journey/ Public sector

NTT DATA is actively looking for one of its partner an experienced UX/UI designer. This freelance position is based in Brussel and homeworking is allowed.

About the role

UX Designer (user experience designer)

UX designer focuses on the overall user experience in their interaction with a product or service. Its goal is to make this experience smooth, intuitive and enjoyable. He performs analyses on users, creates user journeys, designs wireframes and tests prototypes to ensure that the product meets the needs of users.

Designer UI (user interface designer)

The UI designer, on the other hand, is responsible for the visual aspect of the interface. He designs graphic elements such as buttons, icons, typography, colors and layout. His job is to make the interface aesthetic, coherent and user-friendly.

In our context, experience in UX is more important than experience in UI. However, UI experience is one of the prerequisites for this position, as these skills are intrinsically linked.

Required qualifications and skills

• Ability to combine teamwork with independent task performance and responsibility taking;
• Knowledge of user-centric design principles and UX best practices;
• Robust portfolio including a wide range of digital design projects, including internal application projects;
• Effective communication of project concepts and underlying motivations to multidisciplinary teams;
• Work experience in an Agile development environment;
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
• Active knowledge of French and Dutch;
• Asset: ability to perform user tests.
