As a KYC Customer Journey Expert at ING, your mission is to design and deliver innovative, compliant, and customer-centric processes that safeguard trust and enable growth. Your Day to Day
- Develop, implement and manage KYC processes for Private Individuals & Business Banking clients.
- Initiate change based on feedback from internal stakeholders, customer feedback and business objectives.
- Negotiate scope with business partners to align on objectives around time to the market, effort and value.
- Responsible for the analysis, identification and quantification of opportunities for new features and new ideas.
- Create specifications for IT team and follow up until the development is in production. Make sure that testing is done properly and insure a high level of customer experience.
- Responsible for the documentation necessary according to internal and external regulations related to KYC area and for the specifications needed to be included in the sales, support and marketing materials.
- Analyze data and user feedback in order to obtain a frictionless KYC process.
- Follow up market trends, new technologies and legal requirements and come up with initiatives meant to maintain or improve ING’s competitive advantages.
- Act as third line of support for customer support & sales department.
- Take an active role in the QBR planning and execution.
- Actively participate in AGILE ceremonies of the squad.
What you bring to the team
- 4+ years of experience in banking & 3+ years proven experience in a similar role.
- University degree in related fields preferred.
- Strong understanding of global and local regulatory frameworks (e.g. KYC legislation, FATCA/CRS) and industry best practice.
- User journey design thinking and customer testing across digital services.
- Capacity to come up with new innovative ideas on automation and digitization of existing flows.
- Ability to interpret and/or write business documentation and process specifications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, innovative, problem solving and follow-up skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines; capacity to work under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Romanian)
