Tech Lead - Data Engineering

In this role, you will be responsible for technical leadership of the Data Engineering team, defining data processing systems architecture, and strategic platform development planning. Your task will also include team mentoring, ensuring high-quality delivered solutions, and close collaboration with Data Science and Product departments to achieve business goals.

• Lead the Data Engineering team, providing mentorship and developing team members’ competencies
• Design enterprise-scale data processing system architectures
• Define technical standards, best practices, and software development processes
• Collaborate with management in strategic planning and technical roadmap development
• Optimize performance and scalability of data processing systems
• Oversee data infrastructure security and stability
• Build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
• Actively collaborate with business stakeholders in defining requirements and priorities

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years in leadership positions
• Advanced knowledge of Python and distributed systems architectures
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) and their best practices
• Experience in designing and implementing real-time data processing systems
• Knowledge of modern Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Proven experience in leading complex technical projects
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to make technical decisions considering business aspects
• Experience in building and developing technical teams

• Experience in the AdTech/MarTech industry
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience in technological transformations
• Technical publications or conference presentations
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and their practical application

• Python and JavaScript as primary programming languages
• AWS and GCP as cloud platforms
• Modern Big Data technology stack (Spark, Kafka, Airflow)
• Kubernetes and Docker in production environment
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
