Lead Security Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Security Engineer to join our team and take on a critical role in protecting and improving our organization’s infrastructure.

In this position, you will focus on creating and implementing advanced security measures while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the resilience and protection of vital assets. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your security expertise and contribute to building a secure and dependable environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security measures and frameworks designed for industrial asset environments
Enhance and improve technologies aimed at increasing the resilience of critical assets
Create and execute disaster recovery strategies and conduct periodic tests to validate their effectiveness
Plan and implement security protocols for server relocation activities
Deploy IT solutions across asset environments to enhance security capabilities
Generate and present detailed security reports for each asset, outlining findings and recommendations
Work collaboratively with IT and OT teams to ensure compliance with global security standards and advance security maturity

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in information technology or cybersecurity roles
A minimum of 1 year of experience leading and managing teams
In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, proxies, SIEM, EDR, and endpoint management systems
Experience with cloud platforms such as Huawei Cloud, Azure, or similar environments
Proven background in infrastructure management, including servers and networking systems
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Exceptional analytical skills to develop practical and effective security solutions
Proven ability to manage time and plan effectively to meet workload demands
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Certifications in IT or security-related fields, such as Azure or Microsoft technologies
Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish
